HC-1400 (1400 C.R.S.) 75 HP 1:115 ratio
Closed grain cast iron for small and medium sized units and of steel fabricated duly stress relieved for large size units. The ribs are provided at the supports to ensure complete stiffness. The bolted surfaces are lapped to prevent any leakage of oil.

Gearing: Helical and spiral bevel gearing are provided with addendum correction based on latest scientific findings. Gears are integral or alloy steel rings shrink fitted onto cast iron or cast steel centres. The internals are heat treated up to 300 BHN for pinions and up to 260 BHN for gears prior to teeth cutting.

Lubrication: Forced lubrication or scrapers are provided on both sides of gear for positive flow of oil into the bearings in either direction of rotation.

Cooling: Unibuilt cooling coils or external heat exchangers are provided where required.
